Fuel System Parts for Heavy Equipment: Injectors, Injection Pumps and Lift Pumps

Mahmut Usta Yedek Parca supplies fuel system parts for construction and mining equipment: fuel injectors, HEUI injectors and pumps, injection pumps, lift and transfer pumps, injector nozzles, injector cups, high pressure lines and repair kits. Parts are supplied individually and in bulk for equipment fleets, service companies and repair shops.

Fuel Injectors

We supply fuel injectors for Caterpillar engines including the C7, C9, C12, C15, 3116, 3126 and 3406 families, along with injectors for Komatsu, JCB, Perkins, Cummins, Deutz and Isuzu engines used in construction machinery. Injectors can be ordered by the number stamped on the injector body. Caterpillar numbers such as 10R8501 and 10R8502 identify the exact build, and they are more reliable than a machine model alone, because engines of the same family often run different injector builds depending on emissions configuration. If one injector has failed, check the others before ordering a single unit. Injectors in the same engine have run the same hours and the same fuel, and replacing one usually means returning for the rest within a few hundred hours.

HEUI Injectors and Pumps

Hydraulically actuated electronically controlled unit injectors are used on Caterpillar C7, C9 and 3126 engines. We supply HEUI injectors, HEUI pumps, actuation pressure control valves and seal kits. HEUI systems differ from conventional injection in one important way: they use high pressure engine oil to drive injection, not a mechanical cam. That makes them sensitive to oil condition rather than fuel condition alone. Wrong viscosity, extended oil intervals or aerated oil produce rough starting and misfires that look like injector failure but are actually an oil problem. Check oil grade and the actuation pressure sensor before condemning a set of injectors.

Injector Nozzles

Injector nozzles, needles, springs and shim kits for mechanical and common rail injectors. Nozzles are identified by their own code, typically a DLLA number stamped on the nozzle body, which is different from the part number of the complete injector. A worn nozzle rarely stops the engine. It changes the spray pattern, and the first symptoms are black smoke under load, higher fuel consumption and glazed cylinder liners over time. Nozzles are consumable and are replaced at overhaul rather than at failure.

Fuel Injection Pumps

Rotary and inline fuel injection pumps, plunger and barrel assemblies, delivery valves, governors, drive gears and repair kits for diesel engines fitted to construction equipment. Available for Caterpillar 3406 and 3126 engines, Komatsu WB93R and WB97R backhoe loaders, JCB 3CX and 4CX machines with Perkins engines, and equipment running Delphi, Bosch, Denso, Stanadyne and Zexel systems.

Plunger and barrel assemblies are lapped in matched pairs to a clearance of a few microns. They cannot be repaired or interchanged, and a pump always needs calibration on a test bench after a plunger set is replaced. Without bench calibration the delivery between sections is uneven and the engine smokes under load.

Fuel Lift and Transfer Pumps

Fuel lift pumps, transfer pumps, hand priming pumps, primer assemblies and repair kits. Lift pump failure is routinely mistaken for injection pump failure. If the engine starts, runs briefly and dies, then restarts after hand priming, the fault is almost always air entering the low pressure side: filter housing seals, fittings or the lift pump itself. Replacing an injection pump at that point solves nothing and costs many times more.

Injector Cups and Sleeves

Injector cups, injector sleeves, copper washers, O ring kits and installation hardware for Caterpillar and Komatsu engines. A failed injector cup is a coolant problem before it is a fuel problem. When the cup cracks or its seal fails, coolant enters the cylinder and combustion gases enter the cooling system. Bubbles in the expansion tank and coolant loss with no visible external leak point to injector cups, not only to a head gasket.

New or Remanufactured

Remanufactured injectors are common in this market and the honest answer is that quality varies by what the rebuilder actually replaces. A proper rebuild replaces the nozzle, needle, springs and all seals, then flow tests each unit on a bench against the original specification. A cheap rebuild cleans the unit, replaces the seals and sells it on. The deciding factor is the injector body. If the body and its seat are worn or eroded, no rebuild holds for long. We supply new injectors and injector components rather than rebuilt units, so the flow characteristics match the original specification from the start.

Part Number Identification

Fuel system parts are matched first by the number on the component itself. The Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Stanadyne or Zexel number on an injection pump or injector often differs from the number listed in the machine parts book, and the number on the component is the one that matters. If the marking is unreadable, send the machine make and model, the engine model and the serial number. Cross referencing between original numbers and equivalents is provided free of charge.

Operating Conditions

Fuel system components run at high pressure under constant vibration, dust and temperature variation. Service life is decided by fuel cleanliness more than by load: water and abrasive particles wear precision surfaces faster than any duty cycle does. This is why a water separator is replaced on schedule rather than when it looks dirty.

Applications

Fuel system parts are used in backhoe loaders, excavators, wheel and track loaders, dozers, motor graders, skid steer loaders, articulated and off-road dump trucks, hydraulic mining excavators, underground mining machines, forestry equipment and drilling rigs.
