Heavy Equipment Braking and Steering System Parts
Mahmut Usta Yedek Parça supplies braking systems, steering components and brake parts for construction equipment, mining machinery, road construction machines and heavy-duty off-road vehicles operating in demanding environments. Our heavy equipment braking solutions are designed to deliver reliable stopping power, operational safety and long service life under high load and harsh working conditions, helping reduce total cost of ownership on construction and mining sites.
Braking system components
Our product range includes actuators, brake calipers, brake linings and pads, brake pedals, friction discs and plates, clutch and brake friction discs, brake drums, pilot components, control valves, parking brake cables and master cylinders. Sintered metal brake pads are supplied for high-density, long-life braking performance, and all friction material is asbestos-free. These components are selected to meet the technical requirements of heavy-duty machinery where consistent and controlled braking performance is essential for safe and efficient operation.
Brake cylinders and repair kits
Master cylinders and wheel brake cylinders are among the most common failure points in the braking system of a wheel loader. We supply master cylinders, wheel cylinders, seal repair kits, brake hoses and lines for wheel loaders and backhoe loaders. Repair kits are matched by cylinder number and machine model, since piston diameter and seal sets can differ within the same series. Send the loader model and the number stamped on the cylinder body and we will confirm the correct kit.
Friction discs and plates
Friction discs and steel plates are used in brakes, master clutches, steering clutches and power shift transmissions, which makes them one of the most frequently replaced wear items on heavy machinery. We supply friction discs and plates for Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB and John Deere machines in original and equivalent quality, matched by OEM part number. Disc thickness, tooth count and friction material differ between models of the same series, so every set is confirmed against the machine serial number before shipment.
Wet disc brakes and retarders
Most wheel loaders, articulated haul trucks and rigid dump trucks use oil-immersed wet disc brakes, which run enclosed and are far less affected by dust, water and mud than dry brakes. We supply wet brake discs, separator plates, brake pistons and seal kits for these systems. Retarder components for haul trucks working on long downhill hauls are available on request, since the retarder carries most of the braking load on gradients and its friction elements wear faster than the service brakes.
Steering system components
Braking and steering share many of the same friction components on tracked machines, where steering clutches and steering brakes control the direction of travel. We supply steering clutch discs and plates, steering brake components, steering cylinders, orbitrol units and steering pump parts for dozers, loaders and graders. Steering components are matched by machine model and part number, as the same series can carry different steering configurations depending on production year.
Hydraulic and air braking systems
Both hydraulic and air braking systems are commonly used in heavy-duty construction and off-road machinery. Hydraulic braking systems provide precise control and fast response, while air brake systems are preferred for larger machines and haul trucks operating under high load and demanding operating conditions. Air dryers, brake chambers and valves for air brake systems are supplied alongside hydraulic master cylinders, actuators and hoses.
Braking systems for construction equipment
For construction equipment applications, we supply braking systems suitable for Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, Hidromek, John Deere, Case, Liebherr, Doosan and Terex machines used on construction sites, quarries and off-road environments. Braking components are cross-referenced by OEM part number according to machine size, operating weight and working conditions to ensure stable braking performance and long service life.
Operating conditions
Braking systems used in construction and mining applications are exposed to continuous operation, high temperatures, dust, mud, water and heavy mechanical loads. For this reason, heavy-duty braking components must provide stable braking performance while minimizing wear, reducing unplanned downtime, extending service intervals and lowering total maintenance costs.
Safety and performance
Well-designed braking systems improve machine control, reduce component wear and increase operational safety during loading, hauling and downhill operations. Correct component selection and regular maintenance are essential to ensure reliable braking performance over time.
Application areas
Braking systems are widely used in wheel loaders, track loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, dozers, motor graders, articulated dump trucks, rigid haul trucks, asphalt pavers, road rollers and compactors, hydraulic mining excavators, underground mining machines, hard rock mining machines, forestry equipment, skid steer loaders and drilling rigs operating in heavy-duty environments.
