^{Air Filters and Pre-Cleaners}

The air filter works under the hardest conditions of any filter on the machine. Quarry and construction site dust blocks the element long before the scheduled replacement interval expires. A restricted air filter reduces engine power, increases fuel consumption and accelerates turbocharger wear. We supply primary and safety air filters, cyclone pre-cleaners, air filter housings and covers, and restriction indicators that show the level of clogging without dismantling the assembly.

Primary and secondary fuel filters, fuel water separator filters, replacement elements and sediment bowls. Water in diesel fuel is the main cause of injector and high pressure pump failure, which is why the separator often matters more than the filter itself. Fuel filters are available for Caterpillar, Komatsu, Isuzu, Cummins, Perkins and Deutz engines installed in construction machinery.

Hydraulic filters protect pumps, control valves and hydraulic motors from abrasive particles generated during operation. An excavator hydraulic filter is selected not only by machine model but also by connection type and thread. If the part number is unreadable, send the element dimensions instead: outer diameter, inner diameter, height and seal type.

One aftermarket number often fits several machine brands at once, so checking the interchange number frequently finds the part faster and at a lower cost. Filters can be identified in three ways: by the original part number, by machine model and serial number, or by the dimensions of the filter element.
